There is no before picture but we were called to modify this cabinet so the washer would fit under the countertop. this increased the laundry room floor space and made a customer happy. Counter top sold, fabricated and installed by Legends Kitchen & Bath Showroom

This is an educational post. This is my process for doing large backsplash. First, I extend the outlet boxes. Next, I templated the backsplash so as to mark all the cuts that will be needed. Next, I lay the tile out and place the template. I adjust the template the get the best layout. Once marked I start making my cuts. After all the cuts are made I start applying the thinset and tile.

No before pictures for this project. I was called in to take over for a contractor that was not living up to expectations. When I arrived on the job the only things done were the floor tile, rough in plumbing for sinks and toilet and the pocket door was framed in. SDC remodeling to the rescue. Cabinets installed, shower built and tiled. All finish work completed. Shout out to Legends Kitchen & Bath Showroom for countertops and cabinets. homeowners already called back for additional work.

Biggest project to date. (After)…Kitchen cabinet install, Appliance install. Bathroom vanity install for 3 bathrooms. Plumbing for bathrooms and kitchen. Relocated dishwasher. LVT flooring installed through entire downstairs (1200 SF). Tile floors installed in bathrooms as well as tile surrounds in showers. Tile Backsplash in kitchen installed. Doors closed off to create laundry room instead of laundry walk through. Stair rails redone to code height. LVT installed on stairs. Log posts installed to trim bar from Kitchen to living room. Weaved in saved wood from demo into the ceiling in the kitchen and master bedroom wall. opened up doorway into sunroom off master bedroom. installed trim saved from demo throughout home.

Biggest project to date. (BEFORE). Basically, a whole home face lift is the best way to describe it. Completely gutted the kitchen. Closed off doorways. Gutted 3 bathrooms. Leveled floors in prep for LVT. Tile work, electrical and plumbing. This job tested all of SDC’s skills and patience.

First major project as SDC Remodeling. (AFTER). LVT installed. Trim installed. Door closed off with drywall to enclose kitchen. Beam installed and trimmed out to support new entry into kitchen. Due to differences in height of existing concrete and subfloor, a transition strip was made and matched to the LVT. Installed new appliances per customers request.

Note…we did not install the cabinets.

Cabinets were topped off with Fantasy Brown granite from Legends Kitchen & Bath Showroom
