Some projects are measured in square footage. Others are measured in memories.
Long before this restoration began, this cabin took shape through the shared vision, hard work, and determination of two people who dreamed of creating a place their family could gather for years to come. With the help of family along the way, that dream became more than a cabin. It became a place where memories were made, traditions were shared, and generations gathered.
Today, we're honored to continue that story.
Our goal isn't to erase the past. It's to preserve what makes this place special while strengthening it for the years ahead. That means repairing what time has worn down, improving what needs to perform better, and reusing original materials whenever possible so pieces of its history remain part of its future.
Every restoration comes with its own challenges. As we uncover them, we'll share the process, the craftsmanship, and the decisions that go into bringing an older home back to life with care and purpose.
This series is about more than the finished result. It's about honoring the work that came before us, building with intention, and creating something that will serve the next generation.
This is only the beginning.
