Spring 2018; business & flowers, are blooming & booming.
Finished up an irrigation system here in Verde Santa Fe. The plants are very happy.
As are the clients.

This was a real blessing to do; the Cornville Post Office had 3 massive Cow's Tongue cactus plants growing that were taking over the small strip of landscaping out front.

I pulled these, filled in the right hand side with 800lbs soil that had washed out, replaced the old cactus' with a variegated Euonymous, 3 Boxwood Euonymous, a variegated Agave, a small Argentinian cactus, and topped it all with about 1600lbs of Apache Pink gravel (gravel donated by Bedrock Landscaping in Cottonwood).

The USPS workers are so happy and so are many people who visit this Post Office daily. I didn't see them as having the funds to do this one right, so this was done out of kindness.

I hand-water the plants weekly until they'll become well-established in about 6 months.

This was a fun project that stretched me. All you see now is a clean alley. Before was an above ground backflow prevention device that was unsightly, along with a hose that ran the length of the home to the backyard so they could have a hose in back (the house did not come with a backyard hosebib).

I removed the backflow device (it's been approved by HOA), ran a new 84' PVC line to the backyard underground , and made a hose bib faucet come out of the ground in back so they now have one.

The round-shaped valvebox you see on the ground is the valve that controls the new hosebib in back.

Hooray!

Last week 2/16/18, I finished the bulk of this courtyard remodel. We still have a few minor projects such as redoing a privacy wall and retrofitting the irrigation, yet the overall look is really happening for this Uptown Sedona home.

This month is Rose Pruning month. So many roses, so little time. Get them heavily pruned in the winter so they burst forth with strong blooms this spring.

here's the final picture from the creation below. Our landscaping client was so nice here in the Village of Oak Creek. He was so trusting and afterwards shook my hand and shared his joy in our integrity.

Refurbishing this client's outdoor lounge area has been a good excuse to buy more tools. I like where this project is going.

This was Such a fulfilling project, redoing a client's paver walkway with a circle paver kit for their featured statue that will go in the center of the circle.
It took 40 hours, I had to reroute the underground irrigation PVC, remove a major stump, then compact the AB, link up the circle so it aligned with the center of the walkway, etc..
