This is the only picture from yesterday. It was a nice rainy morning picking up some samples and looking at a couple of projects we had coming up. A client had asked us to swap out a toilet for them. Figured to be back in the office by noon.

Well... this turned out to be a cursed toilet. It started out with a bad fl**ge, then a cracked bowl, and finally a tank leaking from the factory.

Obviously the manufacturer was closed because of Easter weekend so we couldn't get them on the phone. We sat in a chat queue, trying to figure out what we could do for them. Their solution was that "we will send you a new part in 10 - 14 days." Of course, this is our clients only bathroom, so that is definitely not an option.

After about 4 hours and a trip to the hardware store, we were able to locate another one of their special order toilets. The only one within 50 miles and get it installed for them. They have a bathroom to use for Easter, and we made it home in time for dinner.

Not every day is a beautiful new kitchen or a fresh new floor. Somedays, things go right down the toilet, and you just need to roll with it.

On June 16, 2016 at approximately 1500 hours (3pm) Coventry Animal Control responded to the area of Sharon Drive in our town for a report of dogs having contact with a raccoon. Upon arrival the Animal Control Officer captured the raccoon for testing at the Department of Health.
After testing the raccoon was confirmed positive for rabies.
We would like to encourage pet owners to check their animal’s rabies status. If your animal is not vaccinated or you are unsure if your pet is vaccinated for rabies please do so as soon as possible.
If you need assistance with vaccinating your animal please feel free to contact Animal Control at (401)822-9106.
