We want to take a moment to congratulate our team on a successful inaugural pour for the Brent Spence Bridge project.

Tuesday was the first of what will likely be thousands of pours, but first impressions matter, and we made a good one. Everyone at Walsh/Kokosing was very pleased with how the pour went.

A special thank you to Brett Deters for navigating the extensive testing and approvals required to get our mixes qualified; David Linville for making sure the first trucks left the plant in great shape and for making prompt adjustments in the field when needed; Jerrick for directing drivers on site and keeping site traffic moving efficiently; JC and the Southside Operations team for keeping trucks loaded and moving while handling the added challenge of loading ice; our Dispatch team for coordinating trucks and maintaining a steady pace throughout the pour; and, of course, our drivers, who did an outstanding job following directions and representing Hilltop professionally.

What stood out most was watching everyone work together. Every person focused on doing their job well and helping one another. That's the kind of teamwork that makes us proud to be part of Hilltop.

Thank you to everyone involved for the hard work and dedication. This was a great start, and we're looking forward to many more successful pours together.
