We’re excited to share the first look at the new Louisiana State Police Troop L Headquarters!🚓👮

Construction on the original building began in 1977, nearly 50 years ago. Since then, the Troop L area has continued to grow, and advancements in law enforcement technology have made this new construction an absolute necessity.

After serving Troop L for decades, the original facility is being replaced with a new 30,000 SF headquarters that reflects the space, resources, and support our troopers need to serve our community effectively. Built to meet the demands of modern law enforcement, the facility will provide a strong new home base for the men and women who help keep our communities safe every day. 🚨

We’re proud to have worked alongside a talented team to help advance this important project for Louisiana State Police. It’s been a privilege to collaborate with Holly & Smith Architects on this new facility.

Introducing Greenleaf’s two amazing Architectural Interns for this summer! 🌟

Clare Roth will be entering her fourth year of Architecture school at Louisiana State University in the fall, where she is also pursuing a minor in Real Estate Design, Construction, and Development. Originally from Covington and a graduate of St. Scholastica Academy, Clare enjoys the creative and problem solving aspects of architecture, especially when working with existing buildings and complex programming challenges. She loves developing designs in Revit, creating renderings, and bringing ideas to life through modeling. Outside of the office and studio, Clare enjoys trying different coffees, along with embroidery and stitching in her free time. ☕️🪡

Ava “Ski” Szczepanski will be entering her fourth year of Architecture school at Louisiana State University in the fall and is originally from Madisonville and a graduate of St. Scholastica Academy. Ava is passionate about the collaborative nature of architecture and the way thoughtful design can create unique experiences within the built environment. She is especially drawn to facade design and enjoys exploring how different material palettes can completely transform the identity of a space. Outside of the studio, Ava enjoys traveling to new cities for architectural inspiration, spending time with family, listening to live music, film, fashion, planning trips, and discovering great restaurants. 🎵🎞️

We’re excited to have Clare and Ava on the team this summer and can’t wait to see the creativity, energy, and fresh perspectives they bring to the studio. Welcome to Greenleaf, Clare + Ava!💚

A Sneak Peak at the Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Co. renderings 👀

Built from the client’s early layout sketches and inspiration materials, this design direction helps shape a refreshed interior vision and create presentation-ready imagery for a major keynote event. We also developed large-format boards to support the bank’s December JEDCO address. 🎤

Our team attended SMPS Southeast Louisiana Chapter’s Making Big Moves workshop!

The event offered valuable conversations and fresh perspectives on how intentional strategy, clear communication, and strong collaboration drive long-term success in the A.E.C. industry.

From the keynote and panel discussion to the roundtable sessions, our team came away with meaningful insights on client relationships, brand positioning, thought leadership, and the importance of aligning technical expertise with strategic messaging. It was a great opportunity to learn from industry leaders, connect with peers, and bring back ideas that will strengthen how we communicate, collaborate, and grow!

Station 81 is starting to take shape 👷‍♀️🚒

With the slab pour done, construction is moving forward on this important new facility for St. Tammany Fire District # 8. Designed to replace an aging station, Station 81 will provide a modern, resilient home base that supports daily operations, firefighter wellness, and the community of Abita Springs, while honoring the town’s historic character.

More updates to come as progress continues. 🏗️

We loved celebrating the grand reveal of Mandeville Ace Hardware last Saturday! 🎉

This project transformed their long-standing Florida Street location with an 8,000 SF addition and a full refresh, creating a renewed space for the owners and the community to enjoy. It was a great afternoon of food, music, fun, and special deals as everyone came together to show off the new space. 🛠️🎶🍔
