This homeowner in Dallas, TX wanted a high quality roof.
This was a cash sale, meaning the homeowner paid for the full upgrade out of pocket. While many of our projects involve insurance claims, this is a great example of a homeowner who saw the long-term value in metal roofing and made the decision proactively.

The home is a single-story brick and siding property. The main house is about 2200 sq ft, plus it has a detached garage.
We installed our Panel-Loc Plus system across the entire property, including the detached garage.

The homeowner selected the Charcoal color, which pairs perfectly with the gray brick and siding on this home. It gives the house a clean, modern look while still fitting in with the neighborhood.

One of the biggest benefits this homeowner saw right away was a significant drop in his insurance premiums. Because our Panel-Loc Plus system carries a Class 4 impact resistance rating - the highest available - his insurance company gave him a discount of about $1,300 per year.

That kind of savings adds up fast and helps offset the cost of the roof over time.

The homeowner was thrilled with the finished product. Between the sharp new look, the lifetime warranty, and over a thousand dollars a year in insurance savings, this was an investment that made sense from every angle.

This homeowner in Waxahachie, TX, reached out to us when it was time to replace their home's aging roof. Their home previously had an asphalt shingle roof installed, and they were ready for a serious upgrade.

This specific project was not an insurance claim. This homeowner simply decided it was the right time to invest out-of-pocket in a long-lasting, high-quality roofing solution for their property.

They chose to upgrade to our highly durable Panel-Loc Plus metal roofing system. It is an attractive and cost-effective panel that carries a Class 4 impact resistance rating—the highest rating a roof system can have to protect against Texas hail and high winds.

For the color, the homeowner selected Burnished Slate, which is one of our most popular finishes.
As you can see, the rich, dark brown tones of the Burnished Slate perfectly complement the light brick exterior of the home. Because the Panel-Loc Plus system comes with a limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer, this homeowner can enjoy their home's beautiful new look with total peace of mind.

They won't have to worry about replacing blown-off shingles or dealing with an old, deteriorating roof anymore. By making the switch to metal, they've secured a roof that is truly built for Texas weather.

Whether you are dealing with recent storm damage or you are simply ready to upgrade your old shingles to a lifetime metal roof, we are here to help.

Most people think Texas Metal Master is just a roofing company.

That’s what Lance thought too—until a fire burned his rental home down to the studs.

What happened next surprised him: one company handled everything. Demo. Insurance coordination. Full rebuild. Start to finish—in under eight weeks.

This is the side of Texas Metal Master most people don’t know about.

We first worked with this homeowner in Sanger, Texas back in 2019, installing several roofs for him at that time. When it came time to address the roof on his main home, he knew exactly who to call. Link to full article and more photos in the comments.

You might be wondering: "If I put a metal roof on my house... is it going to look like my grandpa's rusty old barn in ten years?"

We get it. We’ve all driven past those old hay barns in the country that are completely covered in red rust. It’s a rustic look for a painting, maybe, but definitely not what you want for your home in Waco or Hillsboro.

The short answer is: No. Modern metal roofs are not the same as those old barn roofs.

Here is the difference, and why you don’t need to worry about rust.

The Old Way: Galvanized

Those old rusty roofs were made of Galvanized steel. Galvanized steel is just steel coated in a thin layer of zinc.

Zinc is great—it sacrifices itself to protect the steel. But over time, the rain and sun wear that zinc down. Once the zinc is gone, the steel is exposed to the air, and boom: Rust.

The New Way: Galvalume

Today, for almost all our residential roofs, we use Galvalume.

Galvalume was invented back in the 70s, and it changed the game completely. Instead of just zinc, the coating on Galvalume is a mix of Aluminum (55%) and Zinc (45%).

Why does this matter?

Aluminum is incredible at resisting corrosion (think of aluminum soda cans—they don't rust). It acts as a permanent barrier against moisture.

Zinc provides that "self-healing" protection at the cut edges of the panel.

When you combine them, you get a roof that can last decades without showing a speck of red rust.

What About Paint?

On top of the Galvalume coating, many of our customers choose a painted panel (like our popular Burnished Slate or Charcoal).

The paint systems we use on the Panel-Loc Plus are high-performance barriers that add yet another layer of protection. We offer panels with a Lifetime Paint Warranty. It's a promise that the technology on your roof is designed to fight off the Texas sun and rain for the long haul.

Summary

Don't let the fear of "barn rust" keep you from getting the most durable roof on the market.

Modern Galvalume roofs are engineered to stay beautiful. If you want to see samples of what these panels look like (and feel how sturdy they are) give us a ring at (817) 873-8880.

We’d love to show you the difference.
