Doug, Griff, Reg, and Scott took a trip to Calhoun Super Structure's factories and offices in Ontario this Spring. Here's Jeremy Calhoun awarding the guys with a million dollar dealer trophy for 2025, our fourth year in a row. I'm not a huge fan of measuring success in money, but a million dollars in sales equates to a million dollars worth good homes for Northern New England's cows, sheep, goats, horses, equipment, road salt, compost, and everything else we've built buildings for this year, and that's something we're proud of.

If you've ever driven anywhere in New England, you've almost certainly done it on asphalt from All States Materials Group. This 52' x 120' at one of their many plants has a high peak to allow big dump trucks, loaders, and equipment to work inside. Todd, the plant manager, says that they can store 3,000 tons of recycled asphalt and aggregate inside the building, and keeping that material out of the weather is far more efficient than running it through a drying process to get it ready to be used. With fuel costs what they are, a building like this can pay for itself in the blink of an eye. You might be familiar with our buildings in the agriculture world, but fabric structures can fit any use you can think of!

Recently it occurred to me how many products in Hardwick's Buffalo Mountain Food Coop come from farms we've built barns for. So today, I took a cruise around the store to find some of our favorites.

Here's a brand new 22' x 30' Calhoun building we built this week in East Montpelier for Green Mountain Stump Grinding. A building doesn't need to be huge to be important, we take even the little guys seriously. Big thanks to Ryan and crew, and enjoy the new building!

Finished a new 37' x 96' barn this week at Bobolink Farm in East Montpelier, just in time for lambing season. Our favorite part of every project is when the new residents get introduced to their new home. Big thanks to Bobolink Farm, hope you and the sheep enjoy!

Every year, Calhoun Super Structure puts out a calendar with some of their best photos throughout the year. This year, Breezy Acres' 52' x 72' was featured. What's nice about these photos is how it shows how well the building lights up with white fabric. That, plus it's just nice to see happy cows.

Last week we finished this 62 x 144 for Rogers Farmstead in Berlin, VT. Just in time for their cows to be inside and out of this wild weather we've been having. You've probably seen Rogers Farmstead milk (and chocolate milk!) at your local grocery store or co-op, and we're excited to be a part of another great product that feeds Vermont families. Keep your eyes peeled for it if you're headed down route 12, and also when you're headed south on Amtrak! Big thanks to the Rogers Farmstead crew, hope the cows enjoy.

Each Christmas recently, I’ve been roasting a prime rib for our morning gathering. And each year I get the rib roast from a different farm we’ve built for. This year I went to Charlotte and grabbed a 12 pounder from Grass Cattle Company. Incredibly tender and juicy, it was a hit for the whole family. Check out Grass Cattle if you get a chance, they really take regenerative farming to another level, and the products they have are world class. I love their farm store, it’s a one-stop shop that’s quick and easy. Huge thanks to Grass Cattle, can’t wait for next year! - Griffin

Just about finished up this 72' x 120' at Stony Pond Farm in Fairfield, VT. Sometimes folks will ask us what we do when the weather gets bad. Well, when the weather gets bad, we build barns in bad weather. Big thanks to Tyler, Melanie, and the Stony Pond crew, hope the cows enjoy.

Completed this 42' x 50' building just outside of Bakersfield today. It's on huge 12' high steel legs to accommodate the tall equipment that will be parked inside, plus a loft that will be built later. We can design our fabric structures to fit just about any application you can think of.

Greg says he only takes one good photo a year. Well, here he is alongside the wagyu bred cows and bedded pack at Thompson Family Farm in Craftsbury. Even on a rainy day, a healthy dry herd can make anyone look good.

Here's a video we just shot of the Lindstrom Farm in Danville, VT. The big building in the back is a 72 x 120, just completed last week. The first of these buildings was built in 2021, and the landscape has changed quite a bit at this farm the last few years. Big thanks to Denver, Matt, and the Lindstrom family.
