Masterworks Mechanical was proud to be at the high school career fair connecting with the next generation of skilled trades professionals.

The future of HVAC and plumbing is strong—and it starts right here in our community. We had a great time visiting with students, answering questions, and showing what a career in the trades can really look like.

At Masterworks, we don’t just build systems—we build careers. From hands-on training to long-term growth opportunities, we’re always looking for driven individuals ready to learn, work hard, and be part of something bigger.

Huge thank you to the school for having us and to all the students who stopped by to talk with our team. We’re excited about what’s ahead.

If you or someone you know is interested in a career in the trades, reach out—we’d love to connect.

Carbon monoxide is something you can’t see, smell, or taste—but it can have serious consequences for your home and your family. That’s why having the right protection in place matters.

Most standard CO detectors are designed to alarm only after higher levels of carbon monoxide have been present for a certain amount of time. While they meet code requirements, they don’t always alert you to low-level exposure that can still impact your health over time.

At Masterworks Mechanical, we offer low-level CO monitors that provide a digital readout of carbon monoxide levels starting as low as 5 PPM. This allows you to see what’s happening in your home in real time—giving you an added layer of awareness and safety beyond a standard detector.

Whether it’s a furnace, boiler, water heater, or any fuel-burning appliance, early detection is key. Our team is trained in combustion analysis and CO safety, so you can trust that when we make a recommendation, it’s with your safety in mind.

If you have questions about upgrading your CO protection or want to learn more about low-level monitoring, give us a call. We’re here to help keep your home safe.

A big thank you from all of us at Masterworks Mechanical to Great Northwest Caramel Corn Company for taking care of our crew during training last week.

They supplied some incredible caramel corn that kept everyone fueled and in good spirits while we focused on important carbon monoxide safety and combustion testing training. It’s always appreciated when local businesses support each other, and this was a great example of that.

The caramel corn didn’t last long—which tells you everything you need to know.

We’re grateful for the support and proud to be part of a community that shows up for one another.

At Masterworks Mechanical, we believe great service starts with great training—and this week was all about safety.

Our team spent time in specialized training focused on carbon monoxide safety and proper combustion testing. These are critical areas in our industry, and staying up to date ensures we’re not only delivering efficient systems, but protecting the health and safety of every home and business we serve.

Continuing education isn’t optional for us—it’s a priority. When you choose Masterworks, you’re choosing a team that is trained, knowledgeable, and committed to doing things the right way, with your safety at the forefront.

And in true Masterworks fashion, even Peter the shop cat managed to sneak into the training. We’re still not sure how much he picked up, but he was there for quality control.

We’re not comfortable until you are.

At Masterworks Mechanical, the work you see is only part of the story.

This video captures just a glimpse—hands at work, details coming together, and the pride that goes into doing things the right way. Behind every one of those moments is a team of dedicated professionals who show up every day ready to serve our customers and our community.

We’re incredibly grateful for the people who make Masterworks what it is. Their skill, work ethic, and commitment to doing the job right don’t always make it on camera—but they’re the reason we’re able to stand behind everything we do.

We’re also thankful for the community here in Moffat County. Your continued trust and support mean everything to us.

A special thank you to COLT45 PRODUCTIONS for bringing this vision to life. They did an outstanding job capturing the heart of what we do and were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process.

As technology continues to evolve, more and more companies are turning to automated systems and AI-driven customer service. While those tools can be helpful, we believe there is something far more valuable—a real conversation with a real person who understands your community.

At Masterworks Mechanical, when you call us, you won’t be greeted by a robot or an endless automated menu. You’ll get a real person every time. Someone who lives here, works here, and cares about the same community you do.

Our Customer Service Representatives and Service Technicians are highly trained, friendly, and genuinely committed to helping people. They aren’t just voices on the phone or names on a schedule—they’re your neighbors, part of the fabric of Moffat County, and people who truly want to see our community thrive and grow.

We’re proud to be a local company that believes in real service, real relationships, and real accountability.

Thank you for trusting us with your homes and businesses. We love being a part of Moffat County and serving the people who make this community such a great place to live.

☀️ Apparently Peter the Shop Cat has decided it’s spring.

He’s been supervising the shop with extra naps, soaking up sun spots, and judging us for still talking about furnaces in March. 😼

This unusually warm weather might feel nice now — but around here we all know Colorado likes to change its mind fast. If your system is switching between heat, cool, and “what season is this?” mode, we’ve got you covered.

🐾 Peter’s reminder:
✔️ Check your filters
✔️ Make sure your system is ready for the next weather surprise
✔️ Stay comfortable no matter what the forecast says

From Peter and the whole Masterworks Mechanical crew — we’re here to keep your home comfortable year-round.

Building More Than Systems—Building Futures.

We had a great time at the Hayden career fair sharing what the plumbing and HVAC trades are all about. Our technicians enjoyed showing students the tools of the trade, explaining how systems work, and talking about the many opportunities available in skilled trades right here in our community.

These careers are hands-on, rewarding, and essential—and it’s exciting to see the next generation curious, engaged, and eager to learn.

At Masterworks Mechanical, we’re proud to support career exploration and help keep these important trades strong for years to come.

Carbon Monoxide: The Silent Killer You Can’t See or Smell

Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless gas that can be deadly—even at low levels over time. Too often, families believe they’re protected because they have a standard CO alarm from a big-box store. Unfortunately, that isn’t always enough.

Why a Low-Level CO Monitor Matters
Most store-bought CO alarms don’t sound until levels reach 70 PPM or higher and stay there for hours. By then, symptoms may already be severe—especially for infants, children, elderly family members, or anyone with heart or respiratory conditions.

A low-level CO monitor, like the NSI 6000, detects carbon monoxide as low as 5 PPM, giving you an early warning before it becomes dangerous. Long-term exposure to levels above 15 PPM can cause illness and even permanent health effects.

Why the NSI 6000 Is Different
• Detects low-level CO that standard alarms miss
• Battery powered for protection during power outages
• Uses professional-grade sensor technology trusted by contractors and fire departments
• Bluetooth enabled to log CO history and events
• Continuous monitoring lets you know it’s working 24/7

How Many Do You Need?
Just like smoke detectors, CO monitors should be installed on every level of your home. Larger or multi-level homes may need more than one.

Best Placement
Eye-level mounting in areas with good airflow is ideal. Common locations include:
• Near bedrooms (especially the primary bedroom)
• Near heating equipment or water heaters
• Basements
• Nurseries
• Rooms with fireplaces or gas appliances

If Your Monitor Alerts
• Below 70 PPM: Call a CO-certified professional unless you have symptoms
• Above 70 PPM: Evacuate immediately and call 911
• If anyone feels dizzy, nauseous, short of breath, or has a severe headache—leave the home and seek emergency help

At Masterworks Mechanical, your family’s safety comes first. We’re trained, CO-certified professionals who can help you choose the right protection and ensure it’s installed correctly.

If you’re unsure whether your home is truly protected, give us a call, 970-824-4840. Your peace of mind is worth it.
