A burst pipe left this Berkeley Heights family's basement unusable. Milu General Contractors handled the full reconstruction, from the subfloor up.

What we built:
• Wet bar with navy shaker cabinets, brass hardware, quartz counters, a beverage fridge and an ice maker
• Full bathroom with a walk-in shower, black grid glass, subway tile, a lit niche and a mosaic floor
• Rustic barn door to a mudroom closet sized for the kids' baseball gear
• Open ceiling painted black for a modern industrial look
• New flooring throughout

Happy National Boss’s Day! 🥂

I wear so many hats, and trust me, some days I wonder how I manage to keep them all on! 😂

I'm proud to be the woman behind Milu General Contractors 🏗️ and Milu Legacy Cleaning ✨
Two businesses, two different industries, but one vision: to build something meaningful, create opportunities for others, and continue growing.

But there's one CEO position that will always come first...

Because before I'm a business owner, I'm a mother. And running a household while building businesses? Now THAT deserves its own job title, salary, and vacation package! 😂

Being your own boss isn't always glamorous. There are long days, tough decisions, sacrifices, and moments when you question everything. But there's also something incredibly rewarding about looking back and realizing how far you've come.

I'm still learning, still growing, and definitely still figuring things out. But one thing I know for sure: I'm proud of the woman I'm becoming and everything I'm building along the way. 💪❤️

So today, cheers to all the bosses, especially the women balancing businesses, motherhood, family, and a million responsibilities while still chasing their dreams.

Being your mom is one of the greatest privileges of my life. You bring so much laughter, love, energy, and personality into our family, and watching you grow into the smart, funny, kind little man you're becoming makes me incredibly proud.
You may not understand it yet, but you and your sister are behind so much of what pushes me every day. The long hours, the risks, the difficult decisions, and the determination to keep building, even when things don't go according to plan.
I'm not only trying to build a successful company. I'm trying to show you what perseverance looks like.
I want you to grow up knowing that big dreams require hard work, that setbacks don't mean you quit, and that you are capable of building whatever future you choose.

As a mother, a woman, and a business owner, one of the most important things I can show my daughter is that her dreams matter, her voice matters, and there is nothing she cannot build for herself when she believes in who she is. 💪🏼❤️

We Will Never Forget.
Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the incredible courage of the first responders and ordinary people who stepped forward when our country needed them most.
25 years later, we still remember where we were. We remember the heartbreak. We remember the heroes. And we remember how, in the days that followed, Americans came together with an incredible sense of unity, compassion, and strength.
May we never forget those who never made it home, those who ran toward danger to help others, and all who continue to carry the impact of that day. ❤️🤍💙
