Forest Hills Nursery is currently seeking a reliable, punctual and self-motivated salesperson for a full-time job at a long-established wholesale/retail nursery.

Requirements/expectations:

· Nursery, Horticulture, Irrigation, or Landscape experience is strongly preferred
· Basic plant knowledge is a must
· Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all customers
· Cultivate and manage strong relationships with customers
· Assist customers with their questions and needs, either in person, via the phone
· Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery
· Maintains a safe working environment
· Bilingual a plus but not required
· Excellent customer service skills
· Ability to think quickly and make decisions
· Inventory management experience helpful
· Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
· High school or secondary diploma or equivalent preferred
· Work in various weather conditions will be required

The successful candidate should possess a minimum of 2-3 years working experience in proper pruning and trimming methods, seasonal color installation, plant material/perennial installation, mulching and the various duties required in the proactive enrichment of the client’s property.

Ability to speak both English and Spanish a plus along with the ability to assist with winter snow and ice management services. Valid state driver’s license and current medical card are a mandatory requirement for consideration.
