Custom Mantelpiece build for a massive fireplace, 5’ high and 7’ wide! Made of select pine and poplar, to be painted, although the natural color and contrast is pretty nice. Second photo is original late 70s faux-rustic look (those beams on the ceiling are actually styrofoam) that didn’t match the rest of the house.
