We installed this remote notifier today, which we built. It monitored the CL2 dosing level of a rural potable water distribution system. The system CL2 content is measured by a Hach SC200 and CL17. We sampled the 4-20mA output and set the alarm values based on input from the system T2/D2 operator.

Some C1D1 work today in the rain (blowing sideways at times). Pic was before it really started coming down.
Ran a new 120V 30A circuit in some 3/4” for a LPG distribution vaporizer.
LOTO on the circuit when pulled and termed at the panel, before it was landed at the other end.
Gas guys were really happy to see the system start up.
Full commission with UPS and standby generator next week.

First rainy season for my boots, so far so good, we’ll see. Annual rainfall here is >70”.

Update on digging into the LED/AFCI battle.
Lithonia Lighting says: “Not us, we have no solution.”
Square D Level II tech support says: huh. 9.4A/1110W of load. Trips on AFCI fault (according to on-board breaker diagnosis). Lithonia Lighting LEDs? Breaker is terminated properly? You have a PQA showing high neutral current THD? And screen grabs from a scope? Dimmers actually pull the wave into better shape, less square? Yeah, the breaker looks at the current waveform. Circuit ohms out >1MΩ between N & G? And you added a space heater to generate 400W of ‘clean’ resistive load? And you looked at inrush? Wow.
I’ll have to get in contact with engineering….”

Ferrite beads did nothing to clean up the neutral harms. I may look at a simple EMI filter.
The theory is fun, but … I want to get this job closed out.

We got to work with MC instead of Romex for a few days supplying a new sub-panel for a client. He wanted a few dozen receptacles throughout his new workshop and multiple lighting configurations including a 3-way switch connected to the main house.
