🐝 What started as a few yellow jackets turned into something much bigger…
Today’s call led us to an abandoned mobile home where a massive yellow jacket colony’s nest underground caused the home’s foundation blocks to collapse into it.
The nest went up from there taking over the crawlspace, up the wall to the roof eave.
Yellow jackets don’t usually give much warning. A little activity around a home can hide a colony containing thousands of insects just out of sight. Once disturbed, they can become extremely aggressive, which is why jobs like this require the right equipment, proper planning, and a careful approach.
Our team suited up, opened the skirting, located the colony, and treated the nest to help ensure the problem was handled at its source.
