Today took us to a place for some fall maintenance.

This particular job is an example of under budget work. Cheaper is not always better…

This business entrance boasts multiple varieties of roses with improper placement. Climbing roses, as seen on the outer edge, are meant to be placed where they can extend their stems, climbing and wrapping around items like trellises or pergolas. Planted as they were here, takes away from their ability to display their wild, beautiful flowers. Without a place for the stems to climb, these roses spread outwards, giving an unkept look.

Unfortunately, a severe cut back to get these under control will only hurt these roses in the long run.

The roses planted closest to the sign are a great choice but still using multiple varieties.

Location, growth resources, and knowledge of plant types are very important factors when choosing the shrubbery and florals to make your landscaping stand out.
