Sometimes pest issues are caused by the homeowner themselves. Overflowing trash cans next to a home will attract all kinds of bugs and even rodents. Best practices are to make sure lids are closed and trash cans are stored away from the home.

This customer is a having a issue with American Cockroaches and have been an ongoing problem for some time according to him. As I was inspecting the home , I open the water heater closet door and look down and saw water in the pan underneath the water heater. This could possibly be the cause and need to be address. American cockroaches are attracted to moisture and with the heat the water heater produces in this closet make it perfect conditions to attract these pest.

I was treating a property on Saturday and the painter was inside painting. He had this tube sticking out of the window to carry the fumes outside. It was a first for me to see a painter do this at a home. Definitely wasn’t his first time.
