Dealer support when machines go down is everything guys. I have owned a ALOT of different brands of equipment over the last 12 years in business, and let me tell you, THEY ALL BREAK! There is 100% chance of every single one breaking down at some point. So when you buy something, yes make sure you like the equipment and it does what you need it to do, but more importantly, make sure you like the dealer and they have a way to support you when it breaks.

At our company, we aren’t mechanics, we are landscapers. So if something goes down, I’ll take 2.935 seconds of trying to fix it before I’m calling someone who is better to fix it. But I want them there asap, and I don’t want to bring it to them. Ain’t nobody got time for that!!!

West Side Tractor checks all the boxes in this area guys. I highly recommend you check them out if you are sick of whatever dealer support you are dealing with.

Two years of hard work, thousands of man-hours, and countless loads of material moved, shaped, and graded.

It’s been an absolutely crazy, busy, and incredible two years since we purchased this land. We’ve been so focused on what’s next that sometimes we forget to stop and appreciate how far we’ve come.

Looking back at where we started and seeing how much this property has transformed is just so dang cool. There’s still plenty more to do, but man, what a journey it’s been!

We’re finishing up the custom natural stone bed edging on this one! Hoping to have it wrapped up by Monday at the latest.

This edging is truly one of a kind, and I’m incredibly proud of our team and the way they’ve executed it.

We’re using Silverdale Limestone, 12” wide, in 48” and 24” lengths. Every piece goes through a process:

We waterproof the underside and let it dry for 24–48 hours. From there, every piece is dry laid and individually cut to follow each curve, transition, and slope. Once everything fits exactly how we want it, the stone is mortar set over an 8–10” base of clean 3/4” stone and geotextile fabric.

After the planting and bed finishes are complete, we’ll come back and caulk all of the joints.

Is it a process? Absolutely. But when it’s finished, it’s going to be SO dang beautiful — and more importantly, it’s built to last.

I’ve said this before about this entire project: when we’re finished, it’s going to look like it was “easy,” like everything just naturally fit together.

In reality, this has been the most complex project we’ve ever taken on.

So much action happening! Pavers, plants, equipment, trucks, edging, drainage, lighting…..it’s alllll happening these days. We are past the summer heat and full steam ahead into the fall. Lots of exciting things to dominate this fall and I’m so grateful for such a great team to do it with!
