⚠️ Stay Weather Aware, Alabama! ⚠️
Heavy rain and flash flooding remain a concern today. Keep an eye on the forecast, stay alert, and stay safe! 🌧️🏠
AFTERNOON UPDATE: Widespread rain continues to cover much of Alabama this afternoon as a remnant tropical low moves through.
So far, so good on the tornado threat; there have been no active tornado warnings for Alabama for the past several hours. There is still a low end risk of a few brief, isolated tornadoes across South Alabama through the evening hours.
Flooding is the greatest concern; a flash flood warning remains in effect for parts of Mobile, Baldwin, Escambia, Clarke, Monroe, and Conecuh counties. A flood watch remains in effect for the southern 2/3 of Alabama through tonight.
Rain won’t be as widespread across Alabama tomorrow as the tropical low moves east of the state; but a few scattered showers and storms will still be around.
The weekend will feature routine weather for June. Partly sunny, warm, humid days with the usual risk of random, scattered, mostly afternoon and evening showers and storms.
