Now that our guys have been released from the storm and made it home safely to get some rest, NETP wanted to give a shoutout to our wonderful employees that endured this bitter cold to get the job done. Thankful that we were able to help restore power to the residents of Upshur Rural Electric Co-op and Rusk County Electric Co-op! We are very proud of you guys for working 100+ hours with very minimal rest to restore power!

Big shout out to the Cumby Volunteer Fire Department, Miller Grove fire department, Cumby Police and Hopkins Co 911 for their quick response to a fireworks mishap. Thank you all for your help! because of you, what could have been a bad situation was controlled and safely handled. again, thank you too all that helped.

We are so proud of all of our employees and all the hard work they have been doing during this storm. It doesn't go unnoticed! From our Groundmen up to our Linemen, Foremen, & Superintendent. We truly appreciate all the hard work, each position plays an important role to get the job done! Also very thankful for our safety guy's to be out checking on employees and making sure they stay hydrated and stay focused. It's easy to get distracted when you get tired and each of our employees have put in MANY long hours to get the job done! It's still not over and some people are still without electricity, I believe we were told approximately 1600 still out but I can assure you they are on top of it and doing the best they can! Time away from your families is almost over guys!!
Lots of prayers have been going out to yall and more to come! Thank yall for working in this heat and doing a great job while doing so!!!
