Nobody likes a doubled fine. But there are much bigger stakes inside a work zone.

Behind those cones are equipment operators, laborers, supervisors, inspectors and other crew members working just feet away from moving traffic.

So when you see ROAD WORK AHEAD, don’t slow down just because you’re worried about your wallet.

Slow down because somebody’s family is expecting them home.

Give the crew some room. Put the phone down. Stay alert.

The few seconds you lose could help someone keep everything that matters.
