We are proud to serve as the general contractor, helping bridge the gap between vision and ex*****on. That means working with everyone involved to navigate everything from budgets, compliance, and design decisions to the practical details like making sure the trash guy can get to the dumpster. As we’ve previously shared, this project is more than just housing, there will be a coffee house, a restaurant and a place to host community events—creating lasting economic and social impact.

NFC has joined forces with Community Housing Capital, a national Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) based in Atlanta, GA, to provide construction financing for the transformation of the 6th Avenue Corridor Townhall/Foodhall project. This $13 million redevelopment will breathe new life into the historic and long-vacant North Des Moines City Hall.
