WOW! What a hole!

Before we could pour this absolutely gorgeous stamped concrete poolside sidewalk, the crew had a monumental task: structural backfilling! This wasn't a simple pour—we brought in over 100 tons of stone to build up the base and ensure a perfectly solid, level foundation for the deck.

That's the Nissen difference: we focus on the part you don't see to guarantee the beauty you do see lasts for decades. From massive grade-work and foundation prep to the artistic precision of the final stamping and coloring, this job truly had it all! Our clients now have a stunning, durable, and safe pool deck that beautifully completes their backyard oasis.

We were back on site today, and as promised, we got the final major section poured!

We successfully set up and poured a divider wall down the middle to separate the cattle.

We also added two large, new approach pads—one on each side of the barn at the main entry/exit points. These pads provide a durable, solid, and non-slip surface right where the animals enter and exit, preventing the surrounding ground from turning into a muddy mess.

The entire new floor is tined and textured for maximum traction, ensuring safety for all the livestock.

Rainy day? Not a problem! We moved indoors and poured a 12 yard barn floor with a raised pad for a cattle water tub. We also made sure to tine the concrete so the cattle have good traction and won't slip! We're not done either—we'll be back tomorrow to set up more and pour again on Thursday. Stay tuned!
