We had no idea was was growing. We threw a ln arch up and this is what it was. Let’s see how big it gets. Excited to think I may make a basket from it.

Today we got just a nice little surprise. Some fresh shiitake mushrooms off of our mushroom logs.
And then we started planning our deep in our greenhouse and going through our seeds for neck planting season.

I must say I’m a little bit excited that I have my first loofah blossom!!! I was pretty excited about the okra which we have plenty of and it’s really good!! Getting ready for planting season for next year. We are adding…..
hold onto your britches in another high tunnel as well we are going to rearrange our growing areas. The deep winter greenhouse is going to be planted soon for our winter season. We are open today and tomorrow yet this week 9 to 2.

 We are having a contest.

Gary says the winner gets to PAY us $100 or gets a rotten tomato.

I’m gonna be a little nicer. I’m gonna give you a Court Homestead Garden coffee mug!

We need a name for our deep winter greenhouse it has to be only one syllable name. 

We will announce the winner next Friday.

36 quarts of pickles and 16 pints of sweet relish.

Sunday, Sunday. We figured about 130 pounds of cucumbers today we have addressed.
We have some of the freeze dryer. We have 6 gallons of cucumber relish that’s prepped. We have 6 gallons of spears cut for pickling and we have 8 more gallons to go on the freeze dryer. Thank you Gary for your consistent help I really couldn’t do it without you.

Do a prior engagements we are only open a few hours this morning. Don’t let the rain deter you. We do not pre-pick any of our vegetables.!!!

It is a beautiful Saturday morning.
We are open. We have some beautiful kale for salad last night. We have tomatoes, cucumbers, beets, a few spaghetti, squash, okra, peppers.
We pick when you come over. Nothing is refrigerated and brought back out. Nothing is pre-packed come with me in the high tunnels deep winter greenhouse. Can’t get any fresher than that.
In the meantime, you can check out our store with lots of fun stuff in it crocheted items, aprons, hand towels, potholders, powdered coffee mixes, seasonings, tinturces capsules, jewelry. All of these items are homemade!

Good morning!!!
We are opening our doors to the store this morning. Yesterday we spent the morning pruning our tomatoes and our cucumbers. Tomorrow (Saturday) I will get busy with canning some cucumbers. They will be in the store for next week. In the meantime, we have a lot of beets and they are delicious. Had them for supper last night as well as some peppers a lot of cucumbers stop by and see us. 
As well, I did some more beef tallow, frankincense, and myrrh lotion so that’s ready for the shelf this morning.
