Here’s a little history on Alco Pest Control!

My grandfather started pest control in the 70’s. I purchased his company in 2020 because he was ready to retire. He passed away in August of 2025.
My dad started the business in 1989. I purchased his company in 2006. He passed away in March of 2014.
I miss them everyday. I’ve struggled running the combined businesses through the years but I never gave up. I faced many challenges between 2021-2025 & I believe they humbled me as a person & a business owner, but also made me stronger.
I lost over 3,000 customers during a database switch. I lost important business phone numbers. I lost my place on google maps. I lost employees & had to figure it out on my own. I almost lost my business to the IRS from a faulty decree. I lost my car. I gave up my training career. I moved from a house to a 2 bedroom apartment with 3 dogs & 3 kids. I worked an entire summer in a truck with no a/c.
I fought, I screamed, I cried, I spent countless hours on phone calls trying to seek justice, but at the end of the day it was all on me. I had two choices. Just two. Lay down & die or get up & make a change. My kids are my why. I thought of them & I kept going!
I changed everything I did. Everything I knew was gone & out of control. I grasped & held on. I’m not saying everything is perfect now, but I am saying that I did make it through & it only gets better from here! God willing!
