This was fun! A family is turning this shed into a second living space for kids, visitors, and all sorts of family fun. We installed a beautiful mini split for them today to be able to enjoy it year-round!

HERO Heating & Air in the house at University of Georgia this past weekend was such an honor!

The presentation was on the 7 Lessons for Success in Building a Business.

They were:
1. Service
2. Courage
3. Ownership
4. Understanding money
5. Building trust
6. Growing a team
7. Resilience

Proud to say we are doing a pretty great job at all 7 this past year and the future looks bright.

Also, Go Dawgs! 🩶🖤❤️

This is what lunch with a full on champion looks like!!

Today, we’re celebrating one of our HERO maintenance technicians, Shakyra.

In addition to serving our customers at HERO Heating & Air, Shakyra is a full-time student with THREE scholarships to SCAD, pursuing her passion for art. She also leads an art organization and is preparing for an art show in March.

And somehow, she continues to find the time and energy to pursue excellence in all of it.

Shakyra represents the kind of person we’re proud to have on Team HERO: someone who is hungry to learn, willing to work, eager to grow, and determined to build something meaningful with her life.

We’re excited to see where her talent, dedication, and passion take her. The future is bright for this one!

We’re all built to build something. 💙

At HERO, that means building a place where our people can use their strengths, grow, and take pride in what we accomplish together.

Because caring for the people on our team helps us care better for the families we serve.

A few words from our owner, Anna, about the “why” behind HERO. What are your thoughts? Have you ever been a part of a team like that?

Outtakes are more fun anyway--Never a dull moment!

HERO is headed to UGA! ❤️🖤 Our owner, Anna Smith, will share real-world lessons on building a business at Gamma Sigma Sigma Service Sorority’s Spirit Day. Excited to encourage the next generation of entrepreneurs—Go Dawgs!

💡 Ambassador Spotlight 💡

For this week's Ambassador Spotlight, we are proud to recognize Anna Smith of HERO Heating & Air! Anna has been involved in the Chamber for about 2 years now, and we are so thankful for her positive energy and passion for small business. From supporting local businesses by shopping local to celebrating with us at ribbon cuttings, she is always championing our community! When she's not attending Chamber events, Anna enjoys golfing, spending time with family and friends, and helping bring reliable heating and air services to the people of North Georgia. Anna, thank you for all you do to make business in Barrow a BIG DEAL🧡
