Juneteenth is a reminder that strong communities are built through opportunity, investment, and access.
Archiphy was honored to contribute architectural guidance and renderings for a Habitat for Humanity multifamily housing initiative in South Dallas. Designed as a four-plex residential development, the project explored how thoughtful design can support attainable housing while strengthening neighborhood character and long-term community stability.
The concept focused on creating quality homes with shared outdoor spaces that encourage connection among residents while maintaining privacy and functionality. Careful attention was given to scale, accessibility, and integration with the surrounding neighborhood to ensure the development felt like a natural extension of the community it serves.
Projects like these demonstrate the role architecture can play in neighborhood revitalization—supporting housing opportunities, fostering community engagement, and helping create places where individuals and families can thrive.

Kids Atelier | NorthPark Center | Dallas, Texas

Located within NorthPark Center, this 2,000-square-foot retail remodel was designed to elevate the customer experience while aligning with the mall's architectural standards and tenant requirements.

The renovation included a new storefront, sales counter, fitting rooms, and storage areas, creating a refreshed environment that supports both daily operations and the brand's presentation. Clean lines, thoughtful detailing, and an updated layout helped modernize the space while maintaining a welcoming retail experience for customers.

Working within premier retail environments requires careful coordination, attention to design standards, and an understanding of how tenant spaces contribute to the overall shopping experience. The completed remodel provides Kids Atelier with a refined, functional space designed to support its continued growth within one of Dallas' most recognized retail destinations.

Originally developed as a single-story retail center, the Knox Retail Shopping Center was reimagined to better serve the evolving character of the surrounding district.

The renovation included the addition of a second floor, creating new leasable space while maintaining a cohesive architectural identity throughout the property. The exterior was completely redesigned with a refined material palette, expansive storefront glazing, stone accents, and black awnings that complement the upscale nature of the Knox corridor.

Early planning and coordination with the City of Dallas helped establish project requirements and informed the overall redevelopment strategy. The result is a modern retail destination that increases functionality, enhances tenant opportunities, and strengthens the center's presence within one of Dallas' most recognizable retail districts.

Archiphy partnered on the 4,000-square-foot restaurant, designing a space that seamlessly blends dining, cocktails, private events, and patio experiences. From the signature revolving-door entrance to the herringbone wood-tile floors, custom sconces, and carefully curated furnishings, every detail contributes to an atmosphere that feels timeless, inviting, and distinctly French.

As we head into Flag Day weekend, we're highlighting Summit Point Dental Office in McKinney, TX, where thoughtful design creates a welcoming environment for patients and a lasting presence within the community. The prominent flagpole at the site serves as a daily reminder of service, stewardship, and pride in place.

From the light-filled waiting area to the carefully planned clinical spaces, every detail was designed to support both patient experience and operational excellence.
