We recently completed this 600+ square foot deck. The total length is 42’ long and has a 38” drop over the span. The customer requested custom stairs so we had to fabricate the stringers.

We’re close, real close. Board layout has been approved and will be fastened tomorrow morning. Next step, pour the concrete countertop for the outdoor kitchen.

Excited to make a lot of progress over the last few days. The customer decided to go with Ipe decking boards. These things will outlast this house since they are rated to last 75-90 years with ground contact.

We recently finished installing this 8’ tall Board on Board cedar fence. The customer had us relocate the gate which required us to install a matching stone walkway across the existing flower bed. We also removed 23 Sago Palm Trees to clean up the flower bed so that they can install a custom Buda statue in the corner of the first photo.

This job required scaffolding to complete the interior paint work & light fixture change. Fortunately for the customer, we have access to these tools and a wonderful team of painters.

Not all crickets are bad. This is a case where a cricket is required. This chimney has moisture damage because there is not a cricket installed to divert water. This is a rather simple installation, but a perfect example of how roofing companies “cut corners” to save money.

If your chimney is 30” or wider, a cricket/saddle is required. This was identified while performing a roof inspection for

• Findings (not limited to)
1) Big house with a 10”/12” pitch (Cougar Paws are mandatory)
2) Hail hits on the gutters & downspouts
3) Hail hits on the window screens
4) No hail damaged roof vents
5) Hail hits on wall dryer vent
6) Hail hits on A/C unit

• Takeaway
1) Verified that the roof was replaced within the last 24 months and they did NOT replace the damaged gutters or window screens.
2) The house DOES NOT need a new roof (good news for the buyers & sellers), but there are items that definitely need to be addressed if the new homeowner wants them covered in their next hail damage claim.
