We just finished up this restoration project over in Duncanville, and I had to share the before and afters with you all.
A lot of folks think that when a concrete tile roof starts looking faded, dirty, or chalky, they need to pay for a complete (and expensive) replacement. But most of the time, the tiles themselves are actually still totally solid—they’ve just lost their original finish and are absorbing moisture.
Instead of replacing this one, we brought it back to life. We did a heavy pressure wash to get years of dirt and algae off, applied a specialized masonry primer to seal up the concrete pores, and then laid down a premium acrylic roof coating to protect it from this crazy Texas sun.
It honestly looks like a brand-new roof, but it saved the homeowners thousands of dollars compared to a full replacement.
If your tile roof is starting to look its age, don't replace it right away. Shoot us a direct message on here or give us a call at (214) 494-0851. We’d be happy to come out, take a look, and give you a free evaluation to see if a restoration makes sense for your home.
