We got LOTS of comments about the lack of wall girts, eave struts and roof purlins on our video about Newton’s third law of motion. This is for those people. We do all those things, we were just explaining the overall principle that can be seen in the real world. Education never stops and it’s helpful for students (or adults) to see the application of their learning in the real world.

Also, social media only shows a fraction of the job. Our social media manager had to cut a 1 minute video to 30 seconds in order for the algorithm to show it to people. 50% of the process lost is a big deal.

We use physics on a daily basis. Newton’s Third Law of Motion state that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Here we are using that idea to square our frames on a metal building. Tag someone who would appreciate this use of high school math in the real world!

We like to work smarter, not harder. This is another example of high school math coming in handy. We use simple math to know exactly where to place a rafter on the ground so we don’t have to do more complicated measurements once it is already standing.

This project is just about done! It’s easier to catch the client’s vision now that the frame is on the back of the truck. Now the client will just put wood in the frame and it’ll be ready for its first performance!
