I found this in a home that had multiple plug strips
Be careful when using them.
Do not plug space heaters into them .
These people were very lucky they didn’t have a fire .

This is so true. Most space heaters are 1.5 KW or 1500 watts. They can and do cause fires. Refer to the owners manual and take precautions to prevent a fire in your home. Be safe and Happy Holidays from all of us at Totter Electrical Co.

The cold weather is here in the Carolinas and so is the need to stay warm and toasty, but if you use a space heater, fire officials are warning you to not plug it into an extension cord or a power strip.
