SOLARIZE IT! This is a wonderful way to take advantage of the summer heat. This back alley area was filled with nandina the snail Vine hedra and many trash trees. We cleaned the area out and laid down plastic to solarize. We also laid pavers under the trash cans We will revisit this alley garden in about three months.
