COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY
The Commercial Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the daily activities that occur in the field. This role will manage foremen and crews by allocating manpower, equipment, and other resources as necessary. Superintendents work with the project team to develop detailed schedules of the work, monitoring job progress, adhere safety requirements and profitability of each project, while promoting future work. Our focus for our Clients is Commercial Ground Up, Restaurants, Carwash, Multi Family and Renovations.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Plan work schedules to maximize crews productivity by communicating and directing the field teams.
Prepare 3 week Look Ahead schedules to maximize equipment utilization, ensuring availability, and operational effectiveness
Understand full Scope of Work (SOW) and specifications of the project assigned: Prepare for material deliveries, long lead times, shortages etc.
Ensure all safety requirements are being met throughout the project, and review as needed with Safety Manager
Perform subcontractor quality control checks throughout the project to ensure high QC requirements and standards are met.
Coordinate subcontractors and materials to be onsite in alignment with established 3 week look ahead schedule
Ensure all activities are completed according to the agreed upon plan and specifications, Punch lists to be completed prior to subcontractors completion and departure from site
Manage an organized work area, job site, while ensuring all branded vehicles and equipment is maintained in a neat, clean, and organized manner
Accurately report hours worked, daily log in Procore, plan discrepancies, and completed work for that day.
Maintain professional relationships with owner, engineers, and subcontractor team members
Verify and Code all receipts, tickets, and invoices weekly to accurately account for all job related costs; assist with monthly billing through report & review of completed quantities
Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required, and with equivalent experience
7 years Commercial Construction Superintendent experience
Knowledge of the following is preferred, Grading, Pad Construction, Facility Construction, Detention Ponds, Seeding, and Concrete.
Valid driver’s license
OSHA 30 Certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers, reach, talk, hear, climb, stoop, kneel or crouch.
Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
Position may require travel to and from field sites to monitor the status of multiple projects
