Labor is critical.

As we head into the weekend, here’s something worth celebrating for our Texas green industry community. 🌱

After strong engagement from TNLA members, DHS announced the release of 64,716 supplemental H-2B visas for FY2026, in addition to the annual cap.

For landscapers and seasonal employers across Texas, this provides important relief as businesses prepare for peak season. Workforce challenges remain real, but this is meaningful progress.

This is what happens when our industry stands together.

Thank you to the members who answered the call to action. Your advocacy made a difference.

Funny thing happened recently. I specified a Texas hibiscus for a job. When my foreman picked it up, he accused me of planting marijuanna. Check out the leaves. They do look like it! Love the flowers, though!

Planted this Henry Duelberg Salvia in August. It is still performing amazingly in November. Beautiful!
