A new home for primary and specialty care in Uvalde.

Our team joined Uvalde Memorial Hospital to celebrate the grand opening of its three-story, 85,000-square-foot medical office building. The opening marks the completion of Phase 1 of the hospital’s broader campus expansion, bringing primary and specialty care physicians together beside the main campus.

Thank you to Uvalde Memorial Hospital, O’Connell Robertson, our trade partners, and the RO project team for the collaboration that brought this milestone to life. As work continues on the next phases, our team is helping create spaces that support patient care in Uvalde.

Built for the banquet, the board meeting and the dog’s afternoon out. 🐾

The new Jimmy Burke Activity Center gives the community of Deer Park more room to gather. Designed by BRW ARCHITECTS, the project replaces the former facility with two buildings connected by a covered plaza: an activity center with a 25,000-square-foot divisible event space and a Museum + Visitor Center dedicated to local history.

Behind the event space, a catering kitchen connects directly to the ballroom. Movable partitions let smaller meeting rooms adapt to different gatherings. Outside, the rebuilt Ella & Friends Dog Park brings the sports theme down to dog level, with agility features, tunnels and baseball- and softball-inspired splash pad sprayers.

Thank you to the City of Deer Park for trusting our team to build these new community spaces, and to BRW Architects and our trade partners for the collaboration throughout construction.

Built for connection, the expansion and renovation of the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center created more room to learn, rehearse, perform, and gather.

A redesigned black box theater and a new circular shade structure over the central zócalo are part of that work, alongside careful preservation of the campus’s architecture and artwork.

Cristina Gutierrez started as an intern with a clear goal: become a superintendent.
