It is with great sadness that we share this story with you. Our good friend, Roy Zimbrick was involved in a car accident on Tuesday, November 26th, and died at the scene. Our condolences to his family and his many friends.

Fatal Crash near Dallas
Oregon State Police - 11/27/19

On November 26, 2019 at 4:45 PM, Oregon State Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the report of a two-vehicle crash (which resulted in a single fatality) on 22 W at Perrydale Rd, Polk County.

Preliminary investigation revealed a 2008 Honda Ridgline , operated by Roy Zimbrick, age 86 of Willimina, was attempting to turn onto Perrydale Rd when it was struck by the 2008 Nissan Titan operated by Miguel Lopez Delgado, age 37 of Salem, traveling eastbound on SR 22W. Zimbrick suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The occupants of the Nissan were transported to local hospital with serious injuries.

SR 22 W was closed for about 3.5 hours following the crash. OSP was assisted by Polk County Sheriff's Office, Polk County Fire and ODOT.

Patricia Ann Schell passed away on Sept. 19, 2019, in Dallas, at the age of 68, surrounded by her family.

The service for Ron Taylor is at 1:30 Saturday, September 15th at the Willamina High School.

Visitation and funeral are at: Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center, 287 SW Washington ST, Dallas, OR 97338
