We recently replaced the PRV (pressure reducing valve) for a customer. We were able to do this for significantly less than what several other plumbing companies were charging.
The PRV reduces the water pressure from the main water line (80-150 PSI) into the house (50-70 PSI). This protects all of your faucets and shower heads from breaking down and leaking.
Most PRVs have a lifespan of roughly 10 years.
They are located near where the main water line comes into the house.
If yours is leaking or you are experiencing water pressure issues don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
