We had the opportunity and pleasure to give three authentic colonial era - very early 1800s wing back chairs new lives just in time for the House Tours of Berwick coming up June 13th & 14th.
Jim knew exactly what he wanted on them and had these period prints and patterns ready to go.
Since they had been reupholstered many times over the 200-250 years, their frames needed quite a bit of work. Once the repairs were completed, they were turned over to Rachel for the beautiful upholstery work. We will feature some cool things we found along the way in future posts.
For now though, we would like to encourage you to be part of this tour. These locations offer a wonderful look in the past. We would like to thank Jim for allowing us to bring his chairs back to life.

Hi friends!
It's time for an update on our current and future shop schedules.

As of today, the first opening for new jobs is February of next year. This is for jobs that haven't already been discussed with us already whether through texts, messaging or phone calls.

We are currently running a month behind schedule and are working 12 - 18 hr days to get your projects back to you ASAP.

Regarding chair weaving (cane, rush, binder, splint), we get to them as quickly as we can, but these jobs are done when time allows between upholstered pieces, so be prepared to be away from them for possibly up to a few months.

We won't be taking any new outdoor cushion jobs until the fall when the summer season is over.

We continue to offer pick up/delivery services as well as bringing the sample books to you.
