We were proud to support the 2025 HomeAid OC Diaper Drive today!

Two of our team members joined forces with local volunteers and nonprofits to collect and organize thousands of diapers for families who are unhoused or in vulnerable situations across Orange and LA counties.

Thank you to HomeAid Orange County Los Angeles for organizing this annual event and continuing to raise awareness for the everyday needs that make a lasting difference. 💙

Exciting progress at Ka La'i Ola in Maui! With infrastructure like water, sewage, and electricity now in place, the project is moving swiftly. 🌟 Recently SMP had the honor of presenting at the Savills Industrial Summit at the Pendry Hotel, Newport Beach!

At the summit, we discussed the innovative ways in which industrial and residential land uses can coexist harmoniously. Traditionally, these spaces have been separated due to environmental concerns and noise. However, advancements in technology and smart landscape design—such as natural buffers, greenbelt areas, and shared amenities— make it possible for industrial and residential zones to thrive side by side.

These spaces can go beyond functionality: from creating a central open space for biofiltration and wildlife habitat to integrating community gardens, sports complexes, and gathering spaces for social events. This approach not only supports a healthy work-life balance but also fosters a sense of community by blending natural and built environments.

SMP had the privilege of attending last week's presentation of a $40,671 check from Shea Homes to the Orange County Chapter of HomeAid. These funds, raised during last year's 17th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Tijeras Creek Golf Club, will directly support the creation of safe housing for individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We're proud to have participated in this impactful event and to support such a meaningful cause. A heartfelt thank you to Shea Homes for hosting a wonderful event and for their continued commitment to giving back to the community.
