Some of the toughest work on a golf course renovation happens on the slopes nobody notices. At Hole 12, Tribrook Club, stabilization work kept this hillside from washing out before turf could take hold — not glamorous, and not something that shows up in anyone's highlight reel.

But it's the reason the rest of the hole can look the way it does once it's grown in: a clean fairway corridor leading up to the green, the slope beside it holding exactly where it needs to.
