Warning to all other contractors there is a person going by the name of Joshua Deal around the Commerce area trying to scam contractors by looking up properties that are vacant and going to remove the real-estate sign before you go to look at the work needing to be done to send them over an estimate. They accept the estimate so you invoice them and they are trying to get your bank information also wanting us to make the invoice out for 10000 more than what it originally was for. My husband went back after a couple days later and the real estate sign was put back up in this yard. This is his message to my husband.....The favor is that the exowner of the property I have some money to pay him before he can let anyone start working on the property but am currently in a hospital for my lungs cancer surgery and I need all jobs done before my arrival to the house and the exowner said he only accept transfer or deposit in the bank but my current situation cannot allow me to do that so I will need you to send an invoice of your down payment along with the remaining money I want to balance the exowner so I can make the payment all together now and once the money get cleared in your account I will get you the exowner account information so you can just transfer his balance to him on my behalf and he can let you start working once he receives his balance
