An accidental color combination:
Yellow knockout rose with Stella D'Oro daylilies.

During this Lilburn landscape renovation, we planted the lilies around the existing roses. I didn't expect the yellow rose to survive, but it did, with pruning, fertilizer, and a sprinkler system.
The yellow knockout rose is less vigorous than the hot pink and red varieties. It's more delicate look pairs well with these dwarf daylilies. I always thought the yellow looked washed out but the bright yellow gold of the daylilies compliment it.

What do you think of the top picture? I went to Chat GPT and typed in "Make a topiary garden with blooming plants", and it created this!
The second picture was done when I typed in " Make it smaller, with only four topiaries".
Does this fantasy diminish the joy of making a real garden?
