In case you've missed it somehow, SOSIs Housing Demand Is Growing Alongside Its Economy. Thousands of new jobs, major industrial investments, and changing residential needs are creating an urgent demand for more housing throughout the SoSi region. Danville, Virginia in particular has recently reversed decades of population decline. Since 2020, only three cities in Virginia have added more people to their population. Even more encouraging, much of the city’s population growth is occurring among residents under age 45, including young families and working-age adults.
