5 GARAGE DOOR SPRING FACTS

1. Torsion springs will generally last around 10,000-15,000 cycles before they will break.

2. Most families utilize their garage door as the main entry to their home. This will increase the amount of spring cycles used per day.

3. The average garage door is raised 3-5 times daily.

4. It is never recommended to only replace one spring on a garage door with 2 springs. If one breaks, the other one is due to break anytime. It will save you money to replace them both at the same time.

5. Providing quarterly maintenance to the rollers, hinges, and springs, will help extend the life of the door and even your electric opener.
