Remodeling a balcony on an exiting house. House is probably 30 years old. Check out this framing, beam for the balcony sitting on a block but at least they drilled holes for bolts, through the 4x4’s supporting the roof. WOW! Check out the video.

Working on the remodel of St.Francis at the point and we found a signed board in the wall. It was probably signed by the carpenter who did the wood work. Building was built in 1895. A lot of carpenters used to sign the wood on their projects. My father and I would sign projects we did as well. Pretty cool.
