As the two owners of Midwest Mechanical & Welding, the skilled trades are the path we chose—and that path has given us the opportunity to build careers, support our families, and grow a business in the communities we call home.
We know firsthand what a career in the trades can provide. We also see the growing need for more welders, ironworkers, mechanics, electricians, operators, and other skilled tradespeople. That is why we want to help more young people take that same path.
On September 26, 2026, Midwest Mechanical & Welding will host a Trade School Scholarship Golf Tournament at Viburnum Golf Club. All profits will go toward scholarships for students from Steelville, Viburnum, and Salem who plan to attend trade school.

🕙 Tee time: 10:00 AM
💰 $440 per team
⛳ Limited to 18 teams

🎵 Live band after the tournament
📍 Sponsor a hole for $200—each hole sponsor will receive a custom plasma-cut metal sign displayed at the tournament!
A non-refundable half down payment is required to hold your team’s spot.
