The high winds we’ve had recently are a good reminder to have your roof checked — whether it’s brand new or 15+ years old. Wind damage isn’t always obvious from the ground, and even a few lifted or missing shingles can lead to leaks fast.

This was a tarp job I completed today after wind damage, and the homeowner has already filed a claim. Catching it early can prevent interior damage and make the claims process much smoother.

‼️NEW ROOF‼️

This one is special… this claim started back in November for hail damage. The first adjuster denied the roof and I knew that wasn’t in the best interest of the homeowner and Allstate was holding out paying for the roof.

After 2 different adjusters, 3 inspections, and many emails explaining the difference between hail hits and blistering with different trips back and forth to this property. Finally it was approved for a full roof replacement.

We ended up saving this homeowner over $17,000. At Edge Roofing we fight your insurance carrier relentlessly to do what’s best for your roof. Thank you to the Blank family for trusting us and being so adamant.

Busy stretch lately and thankful for it.

We had a roof installed Thursday that was fully paid for through Auto Owners, completed another one yesterday that was also fully covered by Country Financial, and have another roof scheduled for tomorrow that’s fully paid through Allstate as well.

We’re sending out retail estimates, door knock inspections down the road, hearing back from past customers, and with the weather warming up, inspections are picking back up. There are also still active storm dates available that may qualify homeowners for insurance-covered roof replacements.

This roof was approved 2 days later after the adjustment by Statefarm! Homeowner called us out with a 1 inch hail date and noticed collateral, hail damage to the shingles, and a leak on the inside. 19 year old roof covered fully by insurance, saving the Homeowner almost $40,000!
