Congratulations to all of our well deserving winners at our Employee Awards luncheon. The recognition -- some serious, some not-so-serious -- comes from a company-wide voting process with nearly 100% voter participation. The accolades come from a place of love, respect, and admiration by peers that see your contributions on a daily basis and genuinely appreciate getting to work along side you. Congratulations!

James Davis will be at NECA 2026 in Las Vegas, October 5 to 7, to meet electrical contractors whose customers have work that needs an engineer.

Some contractors call us when a single job needs a sealed drawing or a study. Others have made engineering and controls part of their overall offering. Either way works, and James is happy to talk about what would make sense for your shop.

We're at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Stop by Booth 7726 to chat with James. Learn more about our services for electrical contractors or lock in a meeting time at https://hubs.li/Q04yJt-c0

Jacki Monce, our Client Engagement Manager, will be at NECA 2026 in Las Vegas, October 5 to 7, to meet electrical contractors who need engineering support. She's probably the first person you'll see at our booth in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
Tell her what you're working on and she'll find the right person on our team. Electrical and controls, sure, but also structural, mechanical, piping, and process. You don't have to know which one you need.
Stop by Booth 7726 to chat with Jacki. Learn more about our services for electrical contractors or lock in a meeting time at https://hubs.li/Q04yt-rd0

Aaron Kenney runs our Electrical and Instrumentation department, and he'll be at NECA 2026 in Las Vegas, October 5 to 7, to discuss how AMG can help electrical contractors with the engineering side of their jobs.

If it's electrical or controls, he's the one to talk to: power distribution, coordination studies, hazardous area classification, PLC and SCADA work. He's also good to know for the power problems that are still there after the usual checks.

Find us at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Stop by Booth 7726 to chat with Aaron. Learn more about our services for electrical contractors or lock in a meeting time at https://hubs.li/Q04ytZ3-0

We are so proud of our CFO, Julie Davis, for being named one of the Dayton Business Journal's CFO of the Year honorees.

Julieta has been a hero behind the scenes at AMG for nearly 27 years. Her work rarely shows up on a drawing or a job site, yet every project we deliver depends on it.

A group from our team joined her at the awards luncheon, and everything about the day was wonderful. Thank you to the Dayton Business Journal, and especially Cory Earl, for putting it together. When finance work is done well, most people will never notice it, so we are grateful for the effort that went into recognizing this group of leaders.

Congratulations to all of this year's honorees. You are a very deserving group. We came to cheer for Julieta, but left being inspired by all of your stories. The Dayton region is blessed to have these humble, thoughtful, and driven leaders supporting our businesses and communities.

Our yoga studio may be decorated with surplus industrial facility equipment, but that doesn't stop us from enjoying every minute of our weekly wellness sessions.

Group yoga has a range of physical and mental benefits, both in the office and carrying over to home. And it's accessible for all ages and fitness levels. From loosening stiff joints and improving posture to helping clear our heads and connecting with our coworkers, we cherish our yoga time.

A big thank you to Carrie On Yoga for creating a welcoming class for all of our employees to enjoy. https://hubs.li/Q04rw2m00

When adjusted for inflation, what is generally considered the highest-grossing film of all time?

That question tripped up our AMG trivia teams more than any other at our employee appreciation breakfast and subsequent trivia competition. Blame it on the bellies full of carbs, the maple syrup sugar crash, or maybe the coffee just hadn't kicked in.

Think you know the answer? Take a guess. But don't feel bad if you don't know... our champions, Jordan and Lee, didn't know either!

If you ever need to get in the festive spirit, just stop by Ericka's area. You will never find her lacking decorations for the current holiday season!

Thank you, Ericka for always bringing energy and celebration to the office! We appreciate you!

"It has been thoughtfully observed that every nation, owing to its peculiar character and composition, has a definite mission in the world. Ours seems plain and unmistakable. Our geographical position; our relation to the outside world; our fundamental principles of government, world-embracing in their scope and character; our vast resources, requiring all manner of labor to develop them; and our already existing composite population all conspire to one grand end, and that is to make us the most perfect national illustration of the unity and dignity of the human family that the world has ever seen." - Frederick Douglas
