I had my start with "contractor" work in 1991. The father of a friend of mine, managed some apartments and we would go replace "VCT" tile, repair holes in drywall, paint, etc., to earn money to go to Kings Island (those were the days). I would also help friends of the family paint their homes (for pizza, of course, lol). In time I began to invest in real-estate. I started to "flip" houses and I he
ld some for "rentals". I performed most of the work on all the properties I owned. After getting married, we purchased a home. I would ask my wife "honey, do you mind if I tear a wall down?" Her response was the usual, "as long as YOU call somebody to fix it IF you mess it up". I'm happy to say, I never had to call anyone! So started my journey in "extensive" Home Remodeling. Fast Forwarding......I eventually went to School for Carpentry, Construction Management, Project Management & have received over 12 Licenses & Certifications related to Home Remodeling/ Construction, & Specialty Services. In SHORT, my start in Home Remodeling is from a "homeowners" perspective. I have never worked for a Construction or Remodeling Company. This is the "back drop" to what motivates me as the CEO of a Construction/Remodeling Company. I "see" things from the "customers" perspective FIRST, then as a "Contractor". I am price conscious without sacrificing quality. I "connect" & relate with customers/clients when it comes to feelings of, "Can I TRUST this Contractor?", "Is he/she what they SAY they are?", "Will he/she RESPECT my home/Business?", "Will he/she show up ON TIME?", Will he/she CLEAN UP after themselves?". I am married with one child/son (who of course is being trained in the trades, lol) & 3 little dogs. MY family is EVERYTHING to me and I'm confident you feel the SAME about YOURS. For that reason, we treat YOUR family/Business....... like OURS!
