Question: Do I need a permit for a shed?

Most sheds do! Even smaller ones usually require HOA approval or a zoning permit to show where it can go and how far from property lines.

Tip: Sheds up to 12×20 might not need a permit, but bigger buildings often do—and may need a specific foundation. Always check your local rules first! ✅
