A successful project is one that has been completed safely. Brackett takes the necessary steps to run safe jobsites including weekly safety meetings with employees, daily safety walkthroughs to review jobsite conditions and hiring independent safety consultants to review our sites. Safety on a job has a direct impact on the cost, quality, and schedule of a project.

Progress on the new four-story, 100,000 square foot office building, that will be anchored by Cenovus Energy upon completion, at Bridge Park in Dublin, OH. That office building will also feature 7,000 square feet of ground floor retail space for a future tenant. The Mercer County Elks Golf Club recently opened up its new 10,400-square-foot, single-story clubhouse. The facility features brick and white siding, large windows looking out to the course and a covered entryway, along with outdoor seating areas, like a nearly 3,000-square-foot patio that can be enclosed during winter months. There are also three golf simulators on the north end of the clubhouse for off-the-course practice.

The Delco building today is an example of early 20th century industrial architecture with large windows, exposed ductwork and polished concrete floors. This new mixed-use development in Dayton houses 162 apartments, 100,000 square feet of commercial space, and a 463-space parking garage.

Our largest Tolles Career Fair ever brought students and employers together this week.

Students connected directly with local businesses, explored career pathways, and built valuable professional connections that could lead to internships and future jobs. These conversations helped students see how the skills they are building at Tolles translate into real opportunities in our region’s workforce, while employers had the chance to meet the next generation of talent preparing to enter their industries.

Thank you to the incredible businesses and industry partners who joined us to network with our students and explore the next generation of talent entering the workforce.

Career-technical education works best when education and industry work together, and this week was a great example of that partnership in action.
